When you massage the heel or arch of the foot, it can help relieve symptoms of plantar fasciitis. You can take advantage of self-massaging which is often advantageous, but a professional massage therapist can help significantly.

Shoe inserts

Shoe inserts can be an effective treatment of plantar fasciitis. This procedure often allows patients to prolong their daily activities without pain. Shoe inserts that are helpful include arch supports, gel inserts, and custom orthotics.
